The Gateway services are the domain through which the Individuals, Home Community, Hospitals, and Corporate can access e-services from content providers using the convergence products . User access to the Macrocomm devices is based on smartcard authentication. Content providers can route their content to the communities through Gateway which is a secure and integrated platform.

Gateway is an open ended solution that can be deployed across diverse environments connecting to extended services like entertainment, healthcare, eLearning, financial services, interactive Commerce, eBanking etc. Multiple Home communities connect to the Gateway for the external services.
